Artisan by Sebago / identity
‘Artisan’ is the new collection title bringing together all Sebago’s ongoing design collaborations. With the likes of fashion collective; Vane, artist; Stash and style activist; Ronnie Fieg in the mix, Artisan is making quite a splash. We were asked to create an identity that would reflect Sebago’s craftsmanship heritage... the overriding inspiration that has attracted these
global style gurus to Sebago. We decided to go all the way back to the original Sebago icon - the cobbler, and gave him a small 21st century makeover, realigning him with Sebago. To present Artisan to the world, we created the visual platform of
a gallery/exhibition, displaying the actual product and telling the stories of the characters and contributors involved. Artisan becomes the curator and storyteller. Images from the exhibition could then be used to illustrate the catalogue... housed in
a Docksides inspired leather binder. The whole exhibition format then flows through into windows, pop up shops and a travelling exhibition.
